Some of our local patrons are having a show at Junctionview Studios, on Saturday July 26th, from 7 - 11 pm.  Check it out!

Trying to frame and show your artwork, but realizing how expensive it can be??  Join us this Saturday, July 26th, from 3 - 5pm for a demonstration on mat cutting.

Julie Miller, with experience in professional custom framing, will show how to cut a basic mat, as well as double, triple and multi-opening mats.  She will review how to measure odd sizes (always measure twice!  Or three, or four times̷

Also review basic mounting techniques, and hear about the difference between regular and archival mounting.  Please bring any questions you may have, because although not necessarily covered, topics can include: shadow box mounting, sew mounting, using spacers with mats, regular/non-glare and museum glass, as well as different hanging methods for your finished frames and artwork.

Our large tubes of Utrecht brand oil paint are currently on sale as well as several brush sets and MANY of our canvases.  On top of those savings, all oil painting mediums will be discounted 20% off during the demo!

It’s that time of year again! ComFest is this weekend June 27-29. Check out the MySpace page for it here.
