We have two new products in the store.

The first is a line of Utrecht brand linenboards called Master’s Panels.  These are hand oil-primed, Belgian linen archivally mounted on hardboard.  They come is a range of sizes from 5″x7″ to 18″x24″ and are oil painting only.  They offer a great alternative to working on wooden panels if you like the hard, no-give, surface of panel but the texture of stretched canvas.

 The second line is a line of wooden panels called “Baroque Artist panels.”  They come in smaller sizes and also a variety of squares for those of us who prefer something a little different than the traditional rectangle.  They are unprimed so you should pick up a gesso or other sizing/priming product as well.

As many of you know, the Short North Arts District has a monthly Gallery Hop. The first Saturday of every month, many of the galleries host their art show openings. The galleries, shops, and restaurants are open later and there are lots of people walking about… ANYWAY… This day is exciting because at Utrecht Columbus it also means 20% off Utrecht Brand Products!!!!!!!
