“GOOD AS GOLD” Contest and Show at Utrecht Columbus!!!
Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, it’s the Utrecht “Good as Gold” Contest and Show!!! You know it’s true… Gold is the new Black! And to celebrate all things iridescent and shimmery, we’d like YOU to come up with your best golden masterpiece! The requirements are simple – Purchase any Utrecht iridescent paint (gold, silver, or bronze) and use it as a fundamental part of the artwork. All art styles, mediums, and ideas are up for grabs, but submitted artwork cannot exceed 1 foot in any direction. Draw, paint, sculpt, or print, you need to make that artwork SPARKLE!!! Just call the winner King Midas, because that lucky guy or gal will score their own Pot O’ Gold in the form of a prize package worth over $100, including gift card, merchandise, AND your very own commemorative gold trophy!!! Our runner up will also polish up like sterling when they receive a prize package worth $75, plus runner-up trophy.

Eligibility
The Utrecht Art Supplies Columbus “Good as Gold” Competition is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least eighteen ( 18 ) years old at time of entry.
Timing
Competition entries due during submission period, Feb 15-March 13th , 2013 Deadline EXTENDED to March 20th at 8pm
Competition public voting period runs March 14-March 20th , 2013 March 21st through 27th!
Competition show runs March 14th – 31st , 2013 March 21st-31st!
How to Enter
Visit Utrecht at 612 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43215 and fill out registration form. Contestant must purchase at least one (1) Utrecht iridescent acrylic paint in order to participate in the contest. All entries must utilize Utrecht Iridescent paints as a core element of the composition. Entries also limited to no more than 1’ in any direction. Any Entry submitted after the submission deadline of March 13th March 20th, 2013, at 8:00p.m. will be ineligible for Competition and will forfeit any rights to be put on display for public vote. Entries to the Competition must be submitted through the Utrecht Columbus Retail Store.
Competition is strictly limited to the first 75 entries.
Multiple entries not permitted. All entries become sole & exclusive property of Utrecht for the duration of the show. Entries will be displayed in random order from which they are received.
Winner Selection
On or about March 14th – March 20th March 21st - March 27th Customers visiting the Utrecht location at 612 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43215 who make a purchase will be eligible to cast a voting ballot selecting up to three entries based on quality and originality of work. Winners will be notified on or about March 21st March 28th, 2013. Results will be tabulated by Utrecht and be deemed Final upon completion of the voting process.
Prizes
Grand Prize (Most Customer Votes): A prize package (gift card + product) worth over $100 + commemorative trophy
Runner Up: A prize package (gift card + product) worth $75 + commemorative trophy
Entry Conditions
By entering the Competition, entrant represents and warrants to Utrecht as follows: (a) all elements of the Entry Materials may be reproduced and generally used by Utrecht as contemplated in these Official Rules without the knowledge, consent or approval of any third party; (b) entrant hereby grants Utrecht the irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, assignable and royalty-free right to use the name, image, likeness, comments and biographical data of entrant, and to photograph, adapt and reproduce the Entry Materials, in its various products and services and the related advertising, publicity, promotional and marketing materials of Utrecht in any and all media, and to permit others to do so.
General Conditions
Utrecht reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Competition. Utrecht reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike, distasteful or disruptive manner.
