There are some GREAT NEW FEATURES on the Utrecht website!! We’ve been updating the site for months, and it was finally unveiled this week. Let’s take a quick tour of some highlights, to get you acquainted with it.
First, you’ll notice drop down menus at the top of the screen for every pictogram heading. When you hover over “brushes”, the picture highlights and you’ll see a list of all the products related to that category, from Watercolor to Sets to Brush cleaner and even a special “sale” section. You’ll also see special links for Best Buy and Sale items in the main menu bar, to make saving money on the best selling items that much easier.
At the top of the page, there are a number of helpful links, such as a sign up for email coupons, an embedded store locator (just hover and type in the zip code!), and a catalogue search. We’ve also added a banner with our current sale and coupons, that appears on every page. Scrolling down, you’ll see special call outs about many of our current exciting and money-saving offers, which update regularly.
When you search for a product, you can do so either by sku code, name, or descriptor in the box at the top of the screen, or just click a pictogram link to browse the product category. Products now have a zoom feature that allows you to see the photo close up, and a customer review section on the product page. When you find the item you want, you can even check store inventory! Other interesting and exciting tidbits… Click on the Artsmart Card link from the homepage to learn about our NEW ArtSmart Rewards Program!!! Here you can read about earning extra store credit on every purchase you make with a valid Artsmart discount card! Earn 1 point for every dollar, and get store credit when you reach certain point amounts. If you love a particular brand we carry, scroll down on the home page and click on the brand name logo to see all of the products they make. For instance, if you click on the Gamblin logo, voila! You’ll see all of the wonderful Gamblin painting products, from gift sets to Galkyd medium to picture varnish. On the learning center (linked at the top under the main menu), you’ll find an array of educational videos all about our products. We’ve linked these videos with QR codes on store signage, so you can even check them out on your mobile device when you’re in any of our stores. Finally, when you search for a store, you’ll find a more user-friendly store page, with an embedded map, directions finder, and link to the store’s blog, along with other useful information like store hours and contact info.
These are just some of the great features on the new website, but there are so many more to see. We’re really proud of this work, and we hope it makes your shopping experience an easy, fast, pleasurable, and CREATIVE experience! Go explore it for yourself, and let us know what you think!
